Alwell Chikwe Boms started his writing career during his secondary school days in 1975 as a member of the Literary & Debating Society. His genre is Prose non-fiction. His published works are The African Village Boy, Amaka The Child Of Fate, Fate Fixed It All, Good Old Days and The Indomitable Child. His first, The African Village Boy was a recommended text for Junior Secondary School class by Rivers State Ministry of Education, Nigeria between 2012-2015. It sold over ten thousand copies in the first year. He is a Chartered Administrator and have over twenty four years working experience, having spent the last 14 years in Human Resources, Community Affairs, Safety, and Health & Environment Management. He was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria where he lives with his family. He holds a M.sc degree in Industrial Sociology and Personnel Management, ACIA in Corporate Managerial Administration and a Diploma in Management Sciences – Marketing from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
